Payments scheduled by Melio prior to Dec 11 & more Q's

If I have scheduled payments with Melio inside QBO and the due date is after Dec 11, will those payments be processed?  Or will I have to login directly to Melio to make those payments?

My plan is to continue to use Melio since I have everyone getting paid via ACH and it's free.  Is there any prep I need to do for this transition?  Just plan on logging into Melio vs paying bills directly within QBO? Is there data that needs to be transferred, or since I'm already synced, I'm good to go?

Thanks

As long as you can log into your Melio account directly, you're good to go. You'll find the stand-alone Melio account offers more features.

Hi there, @Heredine33.

QuickBooks Online recently announced the discontinuation of the Melio integration. I understand how challenging it can be when transferring from one service to another. However, you can migrate from Melio to QuickBooks Bill Pay. This change is part of QuickBooks' efforts to improve bill payment services and provide more features to users.

We recommend submitting your payment before the due date to ensure timely processing, as Melio Bill Pay will no longer be available after December 11, 2023. Otherwise, you'll need to login to Melio website and process the payments there.

You can check this article to learn how to use QuickBooks Bill Pay: Learn about QuickBooks Bill Pay.

I'm always available to assist you if you have further questions about Melio's disintegration with QuickBooks Online.

Except this is false... you can't just sign up for Quickbooks Online bill pay because it isn't available to everyone. Shame on you QuickBooks trying to monopolize AGAIN. You take away our only bill pay options, and yet you don't even have the replacement available. Your support people have no answers, except that it isn't available to my account yet and I will have to figure something else out. This is causing damages to our company and you guys falsely advertising a program that actually isn't available yet is sure to have legal repercussions.

@Heredine33

You should immediately sign up for a free Melio account and it will sync your data. I would recommend no longer scheduling any bill payments in Billpay powered by Melio to avoid any issues.

I guess this is what I am unclear about.  I have always logged into melio from inside QB.  But I can and have logged into Melio directly.  So am I all set?  I tried to do a chat with Melio yesterday and sat in there forever waiting. Seemsl ike they'd put out more information if they don't want to lose current users.

If you're already synced with QBO through Melio you should be all set. You can log into Melio by going to meliopayments.com and clicking on login. You can use your Intuit credentials by clicking on login with Intuit from there. Once you’re logged into Melio, click on Settings and then on Accounting Software Sync. If it’s not already connected, click on Connect under Quickbooks Online. You’ll then be prompted to go through the sync process!
