Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details on where you can find your client that has balance in QuickBooks. Then, let me direct you to the appropriate support team to assist you with this customer's statement issue.

You can always find and see customers who have outstanding balances when opening the Customer's section. You'll be able to view their details under the Open Balance column. I attached screenshots below for visual reference.

However, the issue about statement reminders being sent to old or inactive clients that have no credit/balance is tagged as ongoing. Rest assured that our engineers are working to identify the cause of this issue to provide a solution. For now, we're unable to provide an exact workaround to be performed.

I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team, so they can add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users. You'll also receive an update through email once this has been resolved.

Here's how to contact them:

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.
2. At the top right, click the Help icon.
3. Choose the Assistant section.
4. Type your concern in the Type something field.
5. Click Talk to a human.
6. Click I still need a human.
7. Click the Get help from a human.
8. You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, select callback or how you want to contact them and fill in the information.
