Question

Processing payments

Today I tried to process customer credit card payments with QB Desktop Pro 21. I rec'd a message saying that basically said I needed to be approved by the administrator (which I am). I've never had this problem and now I am stuck because each time I try to process a card, I receive a msg saying that I have a request pending.

Also, while trying to figure this out by logging into my Intuit account, I found that another company's pricing is under my account. WFT????

This is crazy. I cannot post because I'm receiving an error message saying I'm flooding the board by posting too many times. This is my first post! WTF????

I appreciate your effort in sharing some details and reaching the Community, rdbarn. I understand importance in processing these payments.

There are four different types of user roles with varying levels of access for the QuickBooks Payments account. To avoid any issues with payment processing, make sure you're logged in as Full Admin in your Payments account. This also applies to your QuickBooks Desktop Company file.

If you're already logged in as an administrator for both the Payments account and the QuickBooks Desktop file, but you're still having issues, I recommend contacting our Support Team so they can look into your account and help you process those credit card payments.

To reach them:

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Go to Help menu, then tap QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. In Have a question window, click on Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of your issue. For example, Processing credit card payment.
  5. Select Let's talk, then choose a way to connect:
  • Chat - start a chat with a live support.
  • Callback - enter your contact information and get a priority callback.

Other option and details about the support hours is provided in this link: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.
