QB Self-Employed: Change pricing of existing items?

I've been searching for a way to change the existing pricing of line items and modify the descriptions I created when I created the line items, as well as remove some out-of-date ones, but I cannot find where to do so. I don't know if I'm searching the correct terminology, or if the feature just doesn't exist?

I can certainly understand how options to change prices, descriptions, and delete products or services could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

 

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

 

Here's how:

  1. In the left navigation bar, go to Invoices.
  2. Click an invoice's Pencil (✏️) icon.
  3. Use your Feedback option.
  4. Enter any feature requests/feedback in the What did you think? text box.
  5. If necessary, you can attach an image file.
  6. Hit Next.
  7. Enter your email address.
  8. Select Done.

 

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

 

As a workaround, when adding products or services to an invoice, you can make changes to their amounts and descriptions. These changes will only apply for the particular invoice, not for the product or service record.
