Question

QBSE Credit card payment toggle is buggy?

I have been using QuickBooks SE for several years now, and have always toggled the Credit Card payment option to off.

However I just noticed a 10% CC transaction fees tethered to 2 recent payments by the same customer using their credit card.

How were they able to circumvent this? what can I do to protect myself from an option that is disabled yet somehow not?

Was there a software update to QSBE or is it a bug that I happened into?

Do I need to check with the customer every time how they are going to pay and preemptively add the credit card fee?

TIA,
