QuickBooks Desktop Payments?

Greetings,

 

We are considering adding Merchant Services from QuickBooks so that we can email invoices to customers with a link to pay via credit card, ACH or Echeck. My question is that we future date our invoices to when the project is scheduled to start and I do not want to send invoices out way in advance of the start date. I have invoices already created for April 2023 until December 2023. Can I edit an invoice closer to the actual invoice date and enable the Pay Now button and email well after the initial invoice was created? Thanks in advance!

I have a question regarding re: QB Desktop Payments. We also are considering using this option to take credit card payments from customers.  I did speak with Khevin from QB the other day, however I have a question.  We have four team members that would be using this function in our QB Database.  Does EACH individual have to go through the process of setting it up through Intuit?  I am the Business Administrator for the company and would rather do the leg work for all users so it functions seamlessly.   Any help is appreciated!  I can give emails / user names for the QB users that will be handling payments.

Yes, your employees will have to set up their own Intuit account if they don't have one to process payments, mgaratty.

 

If multiple team members manage customer payments, we can add them to your QuickBooks Payments account. This will enable them to process payments in QuickBooks without having full access to your accounting data. 

 

You can refer to the outlined steps below: 

 

  1. Go to Account Center and select Payments.
  2. Choose Add User. Enter the EMAIL of the user you want to invite, select a ROLE, and click Send. 

 

Afterward, the new user will receive an invitation email to start using QuickBooks Payments. If they already have an Intuit account, they can select Sign in. Otherwise, sign up.
