Does anyone know of a way to add "Reference" when entering from Receipt Management?  I have looked everywhere and cannot see where you can add fields.  So when I enter in a CC receipt, I then have to go back into that transaction from the Vendor list, open it and then add the reference number.

I also want QuickBooks to allow this as much as you do. I know how convenient and less hassle it is to be able to add a reference number from Receipt Management. However, it is still unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). 

That said, I recommend leaving feedback to notify our software engineers about the feature you need. In this way, they can take it into account for future product improvements.

To send your input, here's how:

1. Go to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
2. Click Product Suggestion.
3. Choose a feedback type and product area on the QuickBooks Feedback window.
4. Enter your suggestion or feedback, name, and email address (optional).
5. Select Send Feedback Online.
