I received email that a payment has been received. It has been more that 3 business days and this payment has not been deposited into my bank. (I have received other payments after this one that have already been deposited into my bank. I checked to see if is pending but it isn't listed. What should I do to figure out where this payment is?

Hi there, @Mary Jane LC.

Let me share some steps on how  to check when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account.

Normally, funds reach your deposit bank account within 2-3 business days of the transaction. However, this still depends on the time of day you enter transactions, which financial institution you choose for transactions to deposited in, and how long it takes your bank to verify and process electronic deposits.

Approximately, the wait time for credit card payments to be transferred to your bank is 5-7 banking days, while ACH deposits may take 7-10 business days.

To verify the status of processed payments, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the homepage, click Activities & Reports and then Deposits.
  3. Select the date range in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.

This lists all your daily deposits, when we put them in your bank account, and the totals. To see the individual payments that are part of a deposit, select the arrow ▼ in the Fee column.

In case there's an issue with a deposit, you'll see Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned in the Status column. You can click the arrow ▼ in the Fee column to review details. If there's an issue, you'll get an email from us on how to fix it.

If you checked the payment status and we deposited the payments, that means your money is on its way. You can also reach out to your bank to see if they holds the funds. Some financial institution requires additional steps when depositing the payments.  At this point, you'll need to work with your them to fix the issue.

If everything looks good on their end, reach out to our QuickBooks Merchant Service Team so they can perform a further investigation.

I'll continue to assist you should you need anything else with QuickBooks. Just let me know in the comments. Have a good one!
