recurring invoices

I have recurring billing that occurs every day in QB desktop pro plus 2022.  Each day when I open the company file, the invoices that are generated automatically are downloaded and applied to the customer account allowing me to match the payments thru the "record merchant service deposit" function. Lately, when I open the QB file, the invoices do not download, and I must manually recreate them in order to match the payments and record the income.  With over 500 monthly transactions, this is a time-consuming task.  Why don't the invoices download and is there a way to manually download them?

Before we proceed, may I know if you update the customer's info? If so, make sure to close and re-open your QuickBooks to sync the data in our system. Recurring charges usually occur at midnight of the transaction date and may take up to a few hours to sync.

 

If the issue persists, updating your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software to the latest release is a good start when it comes to fixing data-related issues.

 

After that, let's utilize the Verify and Rebuild data tool. This method will determine if there are any issues within your company data and self resolves them. Let me guide you on how: 

 

To Verify Data:

 

  1. Choose Window at the top, then Close All.
  2. Choose File.
  3. Hit on Utilities.
  4. Click Verify Data.

 

To Rebuild Data:

 

  1. Choose File.
  2. Click on Utilities.
  3. Hit Rebuild Data.
  4. You will receive a warning message to back up your company file, press OK.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".
