Refund to a client bank account

i am trying to send $20 to a client for overpayment.  when i do it in merchant services, it wont let me do it - only gives me the option for clients who paid with a cc.  & i cant do in qb online either - i see the refund but it didnt hit the clients bank account

Let me share some insights about refunding a customer overpayment in QuickBooks Online.

 

For now, we can only process refunds for sales paid with credit cards. For those that were paid using ACH, you can deposit the money back to your customer's account using other methods. Then, record the transaction in QBO.
