Question

Voiding Paychecks through Intuit

Hi,

I voided paychecks before the cut off date of yesterday before 5 p.m. And sent the information to Intuit by putting in the password & clicking send all. I have both of those confirmations printed stating 6 voided paychecks. Also when I click Edit/Void Paycheck it says the net amount is $0.00, under "sent to Intuit" it says yes. & the "Memo" says; "VOID: Direct Deposit Payroll Service funds recovered" But when I checked the "View direct deposit status" this morning, it still shows that the checks are "modified" & the amount of the entire payroll is still there. I just want to make sure that the checks were indeed voided & no money was drafted from a clients account before submitting the correct payroll.

Hey there, @cl291

Welcome to the Community!

To ensure that the checks were voided successfully, we recommend contacting our Customer Support Team so they can review the back end of your account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Press the QuickBooks Desktop Help option.
  3. Click the Contact Us button.
  4. Enter your question and tap Let's talk
  5. Scroll down and choose to get a callback

Please keep us updated on how the call goes. I'm only a post away if you need me again!

Is it saying "modified" because it's not tomorrow? The checks were initially made for tomorrow's date.
