Question

We are new to QB bill pay after having to drop Bill.com and make the switch. I have 20 invoices to pay in Quickbooks bill pay but after 7 payments it will not let me do anymore. Is there a daily limit?

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

We've had the same problem. We've been told there is a daily limit, but we've not been told what that limit is. We were advised to send large payments in smaller amounts, 24 hours apart. Not really a practical way to run a business, and this is hindering our ability to function.

I'm waiting on an answer from QB.

Hi there, @bcolumbus. Let me route you to the support that can further assist you.

Certain users have standard daily and monthly payment limits in QuickBooks Bill pay plans, which are determined based on their banking and processing history. Once these limits are reached, you'll be unable to make online payments until they are restored.

Since your concern involves personal details, I recommend contacting our online team support. They have the necessary tools and expertise to explain further about your bill payment credit limit and be able to request them to increase it.

Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, select Help (?)
  2. Choose the Search tab.
  3. At the bottom of your screen, click Contact Us.
  4. Type your concern. Then click  Let's Talk.
  5. You'll be given a way to connect with us, click Chat with us.

For more details, you can check our Support hours

You can also use this article to learn more about how to run an expense report by the vendor for a specific reporting period: How to run and save a monthly expense report by the vendor.

If you have further concerns or information, let me know by replying to my post. I'm here to help you. Stay safe.

I'm having the same issue but I believe it is related to the dollar amount on the invoices I'm trying to pay. When its less than 50K I can always process but >50K it will say "unable to process at this time".

I have called CS 5+ times and they agree it is an internal limit but no one can adjust these limits or explain how they are applied.

QBs why can't you adjust these limits where appropriate so we can pay vendors as needed?

@RedEyePrez

Consider having another app as the backup option as I mentioned earlier. We have not found them implementing the same restrictive policies as QB Billpay does. Make sure to click the Get $100 cashback button to signup.
