Okay, so the question was never answered. What are the limits and how do we find them. IS the max charge $1,000, 10,000, or 100,000? When you client gets rejected are you supposed to tell them you have no clue? Do you have to break up the invoice? Intuit cannot be any more vague? How many charges? What is the charge limit in terms of number of charges per day, per month?

There is no page that tells a person the status of their intuit account.

As far as I know, some users have a limit of how much they can get paid online within a 30-day rolling period. The limit is determined by the processing volume or the online payments you’ve taken for the past 30 days. Once you reach the processing limit, your customer won’t be able to pay online until it is reinstated. Although, you can still receive cash or check payments for your invoices.

As an additional option, consider opening a MP account as the backup solution to manage your daily limit to accept online payment.

Some QuickBooks Payments users have a limit on how much they can charge and get paid online, especially for ACH (bank transfer) or credit card in a 30-day rolling period, @Rcbaxter. Thus, the limit amount you can charge depends on the number of transactions and their figures.

When you reach the processing limit, your customers won't be able to pay online until your limit refreshes. They need to pay in cash or checks to settle their balance.

You can contact our Merchant Service or QuickBooks Payments Support team to check how much the limit you have to get paid online. With their tools, they can give you more details about it. Our representatives can also verify the exact amount you can charge per day and per transaction.

Hello All,

I am currently using Quickbooks Merchant Services. I am trying to find out how I can have my per transaction limits raised. For example, when I send out an Invoice to my clients for more than $50,000, they can only make a payment of $50,000 at a time. Then if the invoice is above the $50,000, they have to process a second payment for the balance remaining. How can i have my limits raised so that my clients only have to process the payment once. Please let me know.

The average daily and monthly payment limit is based on your banking and processing history, as well as your credit score.

To check if we can increase your limit, you can contact our QuickBooks Payments Team. They can pull up your account and review your transaction history. Here's how:

Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
Type in Support and press Enter.
Click Contact Support Team and enter a brief description of your concern, then press Enter.
Select No I still need help and click Contact Support Team.
Click the Chat option to initiate a chat conversation.
