There are some transactions displayed in your profit that do not correspond to invoices, jb lawncare.

QuickBooks only shows depending on what's been put into it, except for invoices also recorded here are sales receipts. To know why the profit and loss amount is higher than your invoices. You can check over to the Reports tab and run a filtered report. Let me guide you through the steps to proceed.

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Click the Profit and Loss.
  3. In Accounting method select the Cash.
(Selecting the Cash option will allow us to exclude all unpaid invoices from view.)

  4. Hit Run report button.
  5. Click the amount inline the GROSS PROFIT.

It is important to investigate these transactions to ensure that your financial records are accurate and reflect the true financial position of your business. Identifying and understanding these discrepancies will help in maintaining a reliable and precise accounting system.

You can also find the missing income and expense transactions in your Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, if you want to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms, you can customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipt in QuickBooks.
