Will QuickBooks automatically send out a receipt for a credit card payment processed through QuickBooks Online?

If it does send an automatic receipt, is it possible to view the receipt before it's sent or create a template in QuickBooks for receipt details?

Good day, mgrams.

 

Once the payment is processed, a confirmation email will be sent out followed by the receipt. If you wish to view the receipt template, you can log into your merchant account. Here's how:

  1.  Log into Online Service Center.
  2. Under Activity & Reports select Transactions
  3. Adjust date range to locate transaction 
  4. Click Gear icon to the far right of the transaction
  5. Select Email Receipt from menu pop-up
  6. Enter your customer's email address and send the receipt (you can also Cc yourself and add a personal message).
