? After finalising each pay run is it a requirement to lodge to the ATO , or can this be completed at a later time

So, for example can you finalise 3 weekly pay runs and then lodge to ATO , or should it be completed after each pay run is also completed

Thanks for posting in the Community! After you finalise a pay run, you can lodge the pay event immediately or at a later date. 

 

If you select Create pay event manually at a later date, the pay run will be completed without a pay event being sent to the ATO.

 

When you are ready to lodge the pay event, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Employees tab.
  2. Select the Pay Runs tab.
  3. Select the appropriate pay run.
  4. Select the Lodge Pay Run with ATO button.

 

You will be taken to the Pay Event lodgement page which list all of employees payment details attached to that pay run along with their year-to-date pay information.
