Can i enter a superannuation contribution amount to a payrun which has been lodged with the ato and paid?

You can unlock a previously lodged pay run to edit the information:

1. Go to the Employees tab and select the menu Pay Runs.
2. Click the pay run to open it. Using the Pay Run Actions button, select Unlock and follow the prompts to unlock the pay run.
3. Make any changes as required, then Finalise the pay run once more.

Once you have made any necessary corrections, you can lodge an Update Event. This is used to report the most recently entered information to the ATO. To create the Update Event:

1. Go to the Employees tab and select the menu Reports.
2. Select Single Touch Payroll (under the ATO Reporting subheading).
3. Select Create Update Event (top right). Enter the correct FY and pay schedule, then Create.
4. Review the updated figures if required, then follow the prompts to Lodge with the ATO.

Now you have made your necessary changes and reported these changes in a lodgement to the ATO. If you have any further questions feel free to reply as we're here to help!
