Can I send roster notifications by sms for all employees when they are published?

When I publish rosters the notification is sent by email to all employees. However one employee (permanent) receives an sms with details of their upcoming shifts while the other casuals do not. I cannot find any option for this in quickbooks.

Hi hello-readyspagh,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community!

 

You can check the employee settings to verify if you've selected the SMS or Email Rostering Notifications for the employee affected. Let me guide you how:

 

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click on the Employee's tab.
  3. Locate the employee name and click on them.
  4. Click on Pay Run Defaults.
  5. Scroll down and look for Rostering Notifications.
  6. Tick box for SMS and make sure you've entered their mobile phone number.
  7. Click on Save.

The employee should be able to receive the rostering notifications moving forward.
