Can we change the layout of payslip, For example I do not want to have hours paid at the top as this is not an hourly rate.

Generally you can edit the payslip layout in Payroll Settings, then Pay Slips under the first column.

However for your query about displaying hours paid, you can remove that from the top of the pay slip by going to Payroll Settings, then Pay Categories in the second column. From there, select the pay, then change the units drop-down menu from Hourly to Fixed, then Save.

Now, when you use the pay category in the pay run, it won't display the Hours Paid at the top of the pay slip, since it will now be calculating a fixed unit.
