Forgot to mark final pay run of financial year as final

I processed a normal pay run for the end of financial year, but didn't mark it as 'is final' for my employees.

This has already been processed for the ATO.

Is there another way to push the income statements through to the ATO for the final pay run of the Financial Year? Or is there a way to 'unlock' the final pay run so that I can mark it as the final pay run?

Thanks.

Hi michelle_t,

You can create and lodge a finalisation event if no further payments to be made to the employee on the previous financial year. Before you process a finalisation event, you'll need to make sure that a pay run has been lodged successfully to the ATO for that financial year. Let me show you how to create and lodge a finalisation event.

  1. Select Employees from the left navigation.
  2. Select the Reports tab, then select Single Touch Payroll.
  3. Select Start Finalisation Process.
  4. Select the relevant Pay Schedule and Financial Year.
  5. Follow the steps in the wizard to confirm YTD payroll data, Reportable Fringe Benefits amounts (RFB) and request client authority.
