Generating Payment Summeries not working

Im trying to generate the payment summaries for the 2019-2020 FY, however there is not a generate button or anything that appears? It does have a note that says I do not have to generate or lodge a payment summery if I've been using STP however I do not report this way and have double checked and it is definitely disabled? Please help!

Hi Danielle888,

 

If your employees were considered closely held and/or you were exempt from STP reporting, we have some guides for creating and lodging payment summaries. They will take you through a checklist to ensure everything is correctly recorded prior to generating the summaries. We also have a comprehensive article on EOFY processing when using payment summaries including FAQs for various situations that you may find relevant. Keep in mind that your employees need to be marked as 'closely held' in order to generate payment summaries, you can check this by:

 

  1. Go to the Employees tab and select their name.
  2. Select the Pay Run Defaults menu on the left and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Look for the 'Closely held employee' tickbox. Ensure this is selected, then Save.
