Glad to have you hear in the Community, bjallen,

We'll need to unlock a pay run before you can delete it. Unlocking a pay run will enable you to edit, update and recalculate the amounts within a chosen pay run.

Here's how:

  1. Select Employees from the left-hand menu.
  2. Select Pay Runs and then select the pay run you wish to unlock.
  3. Select Pay Run Actions then choose the Unlock.
  4. Enter in a Comment about why you’re unlocking the pay run then select Unlock.

Once the pay run is unlocked you can make the corrections, save it and then finalise it once again.

Please note that a pay run cannot be unlocked or deleted if automated super payments have been made from the pay run.

If you still need to adjust earnings, for example, and the super has been paid already, you will need to create an adhoc pay run. Within that pay run, select the incorrect earnings line and enter a minus value for the hours. Then click on the blue Actions button and select Add Earnings before entering a positive value for that line. Also, remember to make the pay period and date paid the same as the initial pay run that you are adjusting.

To delete a pay run:

  1. Select Employees from the left-hand menu.
  2. Select Pay Runs and then select the Pay Run you wish to unlock.
  3. Select Delete Pay Run then select Delete.

Note: Once the pay run is deleted, it cannot be undone. Any related data cannot be recovered or restored.

Feel free to post again if you need further assistance. Have a great day!
