How do I change an employee job description?

Hi accounts376, 

 

To change the employee's job description please see the steps below to get this done:

 

  1. Select the Employees tab.
  2. Select the Employee's name you wish to change.
  3. On the left-hand side select Pay Run Defaults.
  4. You will see a field called Job Title, which can be specific to the business and changeable at any time.
  5. Once you've added in the new description, scroll down and hit Save.

 

If you are interested as well in changing the employee's respective Employment Type e.g. Casual to Part-Time, I've attached similar steps below: 

 

  1. Select the Employees tab.
  2. Select the Employee's name you wish to change.
  3. Select on the left-hand side, select Tax File Declaration
  4. Change Employment Type
  5. Scroll down and hit Save

 

These changes will be immediately visible on your Employee's list via the dashboard and will update on employee's next payslip.
