How do I update the fortnightly RFBA amounts in the ATO lodgement. The first fortnight of the financial year displays, but there is no option to add amounts after that.

Hi stewart10,

 

You can choose to report employee Reportable Fringe Benefit Amounts on an ongoing basis or at the end of the financial year. RFBA amounts are not reported on a pay run, rather they are manually entered in when creating and lodging a pay event:

 

  1. Select Employees, then Reports.
  2. Go to the Single Touch Payroll page (under the subheading ATO Reporting).
  3. Click on the ID number for the created pay event (on the far left of the pay event line) to open up the event.
  4. Locate the RFBA column and click on the pencil icon to edit the field.
  5. Enter the amount and Save.
  6. Follow the prompts to Lodge with the ATO.

 

If you choose to enter RFBA on an ongoing basis, you must enter the amount as a year-to-date value prior to lodging your pay event. Feel free to reply if you have further questions as I'm here to help!
