Hello Sally,

 

In order to access the payroll section, your client will need to provide you with Admin-level access within their company.

 

Please ask them to follow these steps in order to provide you with access:

 

  1. Log into QuickBooks Online
  2. Select the Gear icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select Manage Users
  4. Next to the user you wish to change, select Edit
  5. Change the User type field to Admin
  6. Select Save

 

This will provide you with Admin level access, which will in turn allow you to access the payroll section.
