How to delete super employer contribution

I have accidently set up some employees with Employee Contributions on top of the Super Guarantee. I want to delete the unpaid Employee Contributions from the Super report before paying this quarter.

You can unlock the pay run created and remove the super contribution added if you haven't made automated super payments from the pay run. Unlocking a pay run helps you edit, and update the amounts on the pay run. To unlock the pay run:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Click on the Pay Runs tab.
  3. Locate and select the pay run you wish to edit and unlock.
  4. Click on Pay Run Actions and click on Unlock.
  5. Enter a comment about why you're unlocking the Pay Run and then select Unlock.

Then, make the necessary corrections and refinalise the pay run and create and submit an updated pay event after. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab, and select Reports.
  2. Click on Single Touch Payroll.
  3. Click on Create update event.
  4. Select the Financial Year and Pay Schedule.
  5. Click on Create.
