Hi Ribbsfish, 

 

To get Single Touch Payroll (STP) set up through the payroll system there are a couple of steps required to configure both connection and permissions to lodge payroll with the ATO. 

 

For assistance with navigating the various settings and components I would encourage you to follow the Single Touch Payroll (STP) Guide for a quick guide. Within this guide it breaks down how in your payroll system to update the ATO Settings, Authorities and Lodgments required to activate STP for your business. 

 

Once the six steps are completed you will then be ready to create & lodge pay events with the ATO to notify the tax office of your employee's year to date earnings.
