Question

I am registered for STP. How can I tell if a payrun has been registered with ATO?

Hi claire-davis,

There are a few different places to check if a pay run has been successfully lodged with the ATO via STP. Firstly, you can check your STP Reports:

  1. Select the Employees tab, then Reports.
  2. Click on Single Touch Payroll (located under subheading ATO Reporting).
  3. Here you can view a list of all pay run lodgements and their status (ie Created, Successful and so on).

You can also see a quick view of this on your Pay Runs page:

  1. Select the Employees tab, then Pay Runs.
  2. Review your list of pay runs. If a STP pay event has been created, you will see a small symbol (see below) next to the pay period - the colour of the symbol indicates the status of the lodgement, and you can hover over it for more information or click into the pay run itself to view any warnings or errors.

Finally, you can contact the ATO and/or log in to your ATO portal to review the pay events that have been submitted successfully.
