Question

I am trying to enter a new employee and cannot get past the employment details section. The next button is greyed out. Have never had an issue in the past??

It looks like you're facing a browser issue, bl-beazley.
 

Its unusual behavior usually caused by having too much data in your browser. Our recommended troubleshooting steps that can help software like QuickBooks to work properly.

 

If you haven't tried them yet, you can sign in to your account using a private browser. You can follow the shortcut keys below, depending on what browser you're using.

 

  • Mozilla/ Internet Explorer: Press CTRL Shift P
  • Safari: Press Command Shift N
  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL Shift N

 

If the employee's button works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear the cache. Also, you can use other supported browsers like Mozilla, IE, Google Chrome, and Safari. For Safari, make sure to use the latest one.
