Question

I am trying to submit a payroll event to the ato. It is hanging, ie not submitting correctly. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your enquiry and welcome to the community!

 

Are you getting any kind of error message when trying to submit the payroll event? If so, could you please post it here?

 

You can also try doing an Update Event, where you can create a separate payroll event to send to the ATO.

 

To create an Update Event:

  1. Select Employees from the left-hand menu.
  2. Select the Reports tab.
  3. Select Single Touch Payroll (found under the ATO Reporting column).
  4. Select the Create Update Event button.
  5. Select the appropriate Financial Year and Pay Schedule, then select Create.

All list of all employees related to that pay schedule will appear on the screen along with their year-to-date payroll details.
