Question

I have a finalized payrun I would like to make changes to. Can you please tell me how to unfinalize the payrun.

It's nice to see you in the Community, @taniaburke.

 

You can still edit a finalised pay run as long as you have not made automated super payments. All you need to do is unlock it.

 

Here's how:

  1. Choose Employees from the left-hand menu.
  2. Select Pay Runs and then select the Pay Run you wish to unlock. 
  3. Click Pay Run Actions then choose the Unlock.
  4. Enter in a Comment about why you’re unlocking the Pay Run then select Unlock.

If you need to delete a pay run, you can do so. However, once deleted, any related data can't be recovered or restored.

How do you go about amending a payrun that has automated super payments made against it?

Hello, @Amanda Mac.

 

Depending on your payroll provider, deleting automated super payments is currently not available. However, you can make amendments on the next pay run and add notes on it.

 

I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support team. From here, an agent will be able to check in your account securely and further assist you.
