It's good to know that you've already granted access to your employees, smilequestdentis. I can walk you through on how you can utilise the timesheet data.

 

Your employees should receive an email with a link to activate their account (portal). It’s where they’ll clock in and clock out. If they haven’t activated their account yet, they can follow the steps in this article: How to Access the Employee Self Service Portal as an Employee.

 

The next step is to open your employee’s Pay Run Defaults settings in QuickBooks. Then, select the option to use timesheet data for their pay runs.

  1. Go to Employees.
  2. Click the name of the Employee.
  3. Click Pay Run Defaults in the PAY RUN SETTINGS section.
  4. In the Timesheet drop-down, select Use timesheets to submit all time worked.
  5. Scroll down and click Save.

The employee’s time data from Kiosk will be imported in QuickBooks, and you’ll have to approve them so they will flow to their pay runs. Check out the detailed steps in this article: Approving Employee Timesheets.

 

That’s it. You can now run your first pay run using the timesheet data of your employees.
