If my assistant who has access to my online can enter a new employee and its syncs with workforce ( qbtime) why can't I see that person or add them to payroll ?

Thanks for your post in the Community!

 

Are you unable to see the employee under QuickBooks Time account or in the QuickBooks Online Payroll when processing the timesheets? Let's check your access in both payroll and QuickBooks Time. Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on Payroll tab.
  3. Click on Payroll Settings.
  4. Click on Manage Users.
  5. From here check your access if it is set to Full access.

Once verified, let's check also your QuickBooks Time access under Teams tab, and ensure Access is turned on for you to access the file. The slider beside your name should be in blue highlight to set it to enable access on the file.

 

Then, check your access once more when trying to process timesheets.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend also contacting directly our Customer Care Team. That way, they can further check your account settings.
