In the payroll module, how do I record a superannuation payment for my employee over and above the mandatory payment required every month?

Are you referring to be able to adjust the super guarantee amount of the employee's pay run? If so, you can adjust the super through the Actions tab in the pay run creation. Let me guide you how:

1. Go to the Employees tab and select the pay run or click on New pay run.
2. Click on the name of the employee who you wish to adjust
3. Click on the Actions button
4. Click on Adjust Super
5. Select the type of super to adjust and enter the amount to adjust by
6. Select Save.

The amount of the super on the pay run should be adjusted then. You can also check this link to learn more about super on the pay run: Set up employer super contributions in QuickBooks Payroll powered by Employment Hero.
