Question

Is there a way to skip forward a few years in the 'Prepare BAS' function as it has not been used in years?

The client used the function in 2017 but it has not been used since. Is there a way to 'catch it up to the present?'

Welcome to the Community, sam-marschallacc.

At the moment lodging, your BAS in the GST center is done in chronological order. If the client has a BAS lodged in 2017, you'll need to continue Preparing BAS until you reach the most recent BAS period since we're unable to skip a BAS period.

If there are a few BAS lodged (not e-lodged), you can request that the BAS period be unlodged so you can get back to the Get started page and select the most recent BAS period to lodge. Otherwise, keep on preparing BAS to reach the most recent BAS period.
