Hi cklbookk,

If your pay run isn't exporting to QuickBooks, there may be an issue with the connection between the Employees section and the Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks.

I recommend checking if the journals are still connected. To do this:

  1. Select Employees from the left menu.
  2. Select Payroll Settings, then select Chart of Accounts on the first column.
  3. If you see a page that has the message "Get started by connecting to a journal services to import accounts from or create accounts manually", Select the link Journal Service
  4. Select Connect to a journal service, then select QuickBooks.
  5. Select Connect to QuickBooks. Note that it will likely ask for your QuickBooks sign-in credentials.
  6. Unlock the affected pay run and re-finalise it.

If you're still encountering this issue, please don't hesitate to get in contact with one of our support representatives by phoning 1800 046 038. Our line is open 8:30am - 6:30pm AEST Mon - Fri.

Alternatively, if you would like a call-back from a representative or talk to us via Messaging, follow the steps below:

  1. Select Help (?) at the top right corner of QuickBooks.

  2. Under Need support? select Contact us.
