PAYG withholding amount is not correct on the quarter's BAS:PAYG Withholding Summary Report is showing it correct, but it is different when I am trying to Prepare BAS.

Let us check some GST and PYG Withholding report to help verify why the prepare BAS screen shows different amount. Here's how to:

1. Click on the Reports tab.
2. Search on PAYG Withholding Amendment Report.
3. Verify if there is an amendment showing or not.

If there is an amendment showing this is why the prepare BAS screen shows different amount.  An amendment will show to the current period and will affect the current figure. An amendment is a change made to a previous period that has been lodged.

Check also your Detailed Activity Report to compare the figures.

1. Click on the Payroll tab.
2. Click on Reports.
3. Click on Detailed Activity Report.
4. Set a period and verify the figures.

To correct this, you'll have to request to unlodge the previous BAS period by contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the right tools to help unlodge a BAS period.
