Reducing Gross Wages for 2020

My accountant has asked me to reduce the Gross Wages for my husband in the 2020 financial year by $10,000. No changes are to be made to PAYG Withholding or Super. Can you please assist me with processing this adjustment and filing it through STP.

Hi OptionsKerri, 

 

Thank you for reaching out. This can be done in an ad hoc pay run but please take note of the current Year-to-Date figures first. 

 

  • Create a new Pay Run and include only the employee needing to be edited.
  • Enter an earnings line with your negative amount and Save.
  • In Actions choose PAYG/Super and enter back in the amounts that would have been changed by the negative earnings. 
  • Save and Recalculate if need be.
