The drop box 'take leave' in Employees pay slip does not give me the options I need It is not showing any options at all

Hi ctait, this is a known issue that is being worked on at the moment.

For the time being you are able to adjust the screen size by holding down the CTRL button (Command button for MAC) and then press either the + or - button once.

This is will adjust the screen and then also unlock the ability for the drop down menu to be accessible.

Give that a shot and see how you go.
