Question

The single touch payroll finalisation would only let me finalise one pay schedule. How do I report the rest?

Hi Upgrade-1,

If your employees have more than one default pay schedule, you can lodge another Finalisation Event for the other schedule:

  1. Select Employees, then Reports.
  2. Select Single Touch Payroll, then Start Finalisation Process.
  3. Select the relevant pay schedule from the dropdown provided, then continue the process as prompted.

Please note that you will not be able to lodge the event if you have not successfully reported any pay events during the financial year. Also please note if employees have been paid using multiple pay schedules throughout the financial year, you do not need to complete a finalisation event for each pay schedule for that employee. You only need to complete the finalisation event for the default pay schedule the employee is assigned to. As an example, if an employee's default schedule is Weekly however they were also included in an Ad Hoc pay schedule or Fortnightly schedule, you do not need to report the employee under these as well as their year to date earnings will all be reported in the Weekly finalisation event.

If you have further questions feel free to reply as I'm here to help!
