Question

When I try to lodge pay event with ATO, through a newly created pay run, I am unable to as it does not upload my employee, how do I rectify that?

Hello there, @eciulw.

There haven't been any similar reports received as of this time. When encountering usual behavior while working with QuickBooks, it's recommended to try accessing your QuickBooks through a private window. This is to test if the problem is browser-related.

Here are the different keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

At times, the stored data can cause some odd errors and simply needs to be cleared from the browser. If using a private window works fine, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. I'm including an article that goes over this in more depth and provides steps for supported browsers: Delete or disable cache and temporary internet files in your web browser.

If doing this doesn't make a difference, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They can run a remote viewing session to help verify what's causing the issue.

I've included here an article that will serve as your guide when lodging a pay event with the ATO: Create and lodge a pay event

In the event that you have questions about this, or need anything else, you can find me here. Have a fantastic weekend!
