Question

All my customers have disappeared in my QuickBooks. Can't look up their history or anything. Is this a glitch? Can I get them back somehow?

it's vital that all your transactions are correctly entered for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of invoices and payments to see how much money is owed by each customer. I can provide some information about missing information in QuickBooks Online.

 

One possible cause for missing information such as your customer list would be browsing data. These temporary files can accumulate in your browser, computer, and network and cause errors like this in any cloud-based software like QuickBooks Online. Here are some steps to resolve issues caused by browsing data:

 

If the error persists after those steps, then you'd need to reach out to the support team outside of the Community for assistance. They'll be able to view the error with you in a secure setting to provide more troubleshooting steps, as well as collect the necessary information to notify the engineers of the missing customers.
