Desk top had the option to see what customers bought in the past. Often have them wanting copies of previous purchases how do I find that on-line version?

Based on the details you've shared above, I suggest running the Transaction List Report and filtering by customer so you can focus on the customer(s) in question. This report shows you the activity on the customer including purchases. Here's how to run the report: 

1. Go to Reports.
2. Click Go to report or click the magnifying glass then enter Transaction List by Customer.
3. If you want to filter into one customer just click Customize.
4. Under Report period, change the year you wanted to show in the report.
5. Click Filter then select Customer.
6. Then choose the customer you wanted to filter.
7. Click Run report.
