Hi jeremy@dermaluma,

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online has the features you need to record your transactions accurately.  It's important that your transactions are applied to the correct account.  I'll be glad to assist!

Based on the information you've provided, there isn't a way for you to merge the two accounts together due to the difference in currency.  However, you can edit the transactions individually and move them to the correct account.  Here's how:

1. Go to Settings ⚙, in the top right of your QuickBooks account

2. Open the Chart of accounts

3. Locate the account with the transactions in CAD currency

4. In the Action column, click on Account history

5. Select a transaction to open it and choose Edit

6. Enter the correct Account for the transaction

7. When finished, hit Save and close

Repeat the process for all transactions in the CAD account to move them to the USD account.

To prevent this from happening in the future, you can apply bank rules to transactions.  This will allow QuickBooks to automatically categorize them to the correct account and save valuable time.

Please feel free to reach back out if you have other questions.  We'd love to help!
