Is it possible to turn off the automatic checkbox to charge a customer credit card on file when using receive payment function

Since the option to remove the checkbox isn't available, you'll have to manually check/un-check the payment option. I see the benefit of having the option to remove the checkbox and I recommend sending feedback to our engineers. To send feedback, click on the Gear icon and look for Feedback.
