Question

Is there issues with inactive clients becoming activated? I have encountered a few times when I placed a customer inactive they become active.

Hi there,

Glad to have you join the Community. QuickBooks is a versatile program that helps you bring your finances into perspective. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track with accomplishing your QuickBooks goals.

In order to learn more about the changes to your account, I recommend using the Audit log tool. The tool that allows you to view the info you're looking for is the Audit. This tool provides you with a list of changes/transactions that were made on your account.  Here's how to use the Audit log:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. If you've recently created these transactions, locate them on the Audit log screen, click on the blue link to open the transaction in question and retrieve the required info.
  5. Select Apply.

In the meantime, feel free to ask other questions. I'll be here to assist.
