Question

Multicurrency issue: In my PayPal, I have transactions in many currencies, like CAD, USD, GBP, EUR, JPY, etc. How correctly import them in a QBO? 20,000JPY != 20,000 CAD

Hi there,

Welcome back to the Community. QuickBooks offers the flexibility you need in order to manage your accounting with ease. I'll be glad to share more info and help steer you in the right direction.

To get started, it's important to make sure you've got multi-currency enabled in order to working with the currencies you've listed above. This following article does a great job at explaining how to: Set up and use Multicurrency in QuickBooks Online. Once you've set this up, you can employ a third-party app to successfully import the transactions in question. You can search for transaction migrating apps on our app store www.apps.com

You're welcome to ask other questions. I'm here to help.

Can you recommend the exact names of apps that do this job?

Glad to hear back from you. While I cannot recommend a specific third-party app to use, I encourage choosing an app that suits your business needs based on the description and reviews of the app. Feel free to ask other questions.

@lucy55

You should have a 3rd party connector to reconcile Paypal with multi currency transactions into QBO.
