Recently created new tax category not appearing in tax dropdown as an option to select when categorizing an expense.

I appreciate you turning to the QuickBooks Community for support. I'd be happy to provide some information.

QuickBooks Online provides the option to create custom tax codes. Once you've set up a new custom tax code, you should be able to chose it from the sales tax drop down. If you're unable to locate it, I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if this resolves the issue, as sometimes browsing data can accumulate and prevent the software from doing what it is supposed to do. Here are some steps you can try:

1. Clear your cache and cookies.

2. Switch to a different browser.

3. Try in a private browser (Incognito)
