Why is my fee for processing a credit card payment from a customer more than the posted 1%?

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  Using our Payments add-on is a fantastic way to receive customer credit card payments towards their invoices.   It's important to understand the associated processing fees.  I would be glad to provide some insight here!

When you receive a credit card payment from your customer using QuickBooks Online Payments Canada, you'll be charged a 2.9% + $0.25 fee. This fee is charged on every transaction processed using Payments. I encourage you to review the Intuit payments pricing schedule, to better understand the fees and how they are applied.
