I am a first timer to Quickbooks. How many financial years of data can I upload before closing the financial year?

There's no limit to the specific years of data to be uploaded, but there is a limit to the number of data to be uploaded, Reitz. I'd be glad to go into detail and clarify this matter for you.

When uploading financial data into QuickBooks Online (QBO), it not only includes bank transaction data but also encompasses various types of financial information.

If you're manually uploading transactions for accounts connected to online banking, please note that there is a 1,000-line limit per upload. If your data exceeds this limit, you can create and upload another batch.

Additionally, when importing multiple open invoices or bills using Excel CSV files, we recommend importing no more than 100 transactions at once. For Customers, Suppliers, and Products and Services, you can upload up to 1,000 rows at a time.

Once you have your data ready, you can proceed to import it to QuickBooks by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Gear icon, then Import data.
2. Choose the type of data you wish to import.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
